Round seven and eight of the Tegiwa Type R Trophy saw Jack Leese gain an impressive 4th and 6th place respectively at Silverstone last weekend.
The drivers used the famous F1 multi-million-pound pits and the weekend saw spectators allowed back, following the relaxing of Covid restrictions.
Having qualified 4th, Jack looked strong all day but was caught out in the final race when he went out on a wet tyre set up and the forecast rain never arrived.
A crash at the start of the race resulted in a restart and a reduced race of only seven laps. Jack did well to hang on to his 6th place after a shaky start saw him drop from 4th to 6th.
The next two rounds of the championship are at Anglesey Coastal, providing a challenging and exciting circuit set in a breathtakingly beautiful location.
