On Route to Portugal Raising Funds for Alder Hey Children’s Hospital

Three weeks into the virtual journey to Portugal, igroup are now on the outskirts of Bordeaux, having walked, run and cycled our way from our office in Cheshire.

The challenge has been set up to raise money for Alder Hey Children’s Hospital who have launched a new appeal with their first ever TV advert to help make up a fundraising shortfall caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Steve Rastall MD commented, “We know that this is a really challenging time for charities and the staff at Alder Hey will be working harder than ever at the moment. We were keen to do something challenging to enable us to raise as much sponsorship as possible for Alder Hey who are a valued client of ours. It also encouraged our team to look after their fitness and mental health. Everyone is working very hard to reach both the distance and the fundraising target.”
