What is Saltstack?
Saltstack was created in an effort to improve, accelerate, and further customise the finest remote execution options now available. It does this by having the capacity to swiftly handle massive information loads, including not just dozens of individual servers, but hundreds or even thousands.
Configuration management: Saltstack has the ability to keep distant nodes in predetermined states. For instance, it may make sure certain services are active and certain packages are installed.
Remote execution system: Saltstack has the ability to query and run commands on specific nodes or by applying arbitrary selection criteria maintaining or modifying settings to ensure conformance to rules.
In a cloud setting it’s ability to interface with any type of node and maintain configuration settings or alter them as needed based on criteria allow you to have complete control in a scalable way.
